Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This privacy policy covers The Dawn Path Pin Scheduler, an internal tool used by The Dawn Path to publish content to its own Pinterest accounts.

Who this applies to

The Dawn Path operates several Etsy shops, each with its own Pinterest business account. This tool is used by us to manage publishing to those accounts, all of which we own. It has no public interface, no user accounts, and no users outside our own team. It does not collect data from visitors, customers, or any member of the public.

What data we access

Through the Pinterest API, the tool accesses:

All of this data belongs to Pinterest accounts we own and operate. The tool does not access any other Pinterest user's boards, pins, profile, or personal information.

What we do with it

Board information is used to route each pin to the correct board. Performance data is used to inform which designs we create in future. Nothing else.

What we store

We do not store data retrieved from the Pinterest API. Information is requested from the API at the time it is needed and used within that process.

The tool stores our own content, meaning the images we create and the captions we write, along with a record of what we have published and when. This is our own material, not data obtained from Pinterest.

What we do not do

Access credentials

API credentials are stored securely on a private server and are not shared. Access can be revoked at any time from the Pinterest account settings.

Data deletion

Because the tool does not retain Pinterest data, there is nothing to delete on request. If access is revoked or the tool is retired, any remaining API credentials are destroyed.

Changes to this policy
